vintage prom dress to be in again

Fashion trend is always changing. after so many modern styles of dress, now the vintage style is in back and has become women’s preference. Something vintage can recall modern people of old days and temporially relieve modern people from the depressive atmosphere of the real world.
If you hold a vintage concept of beauty, a vintage prom dress will meet your need. Prom dresses of the 1950s were soft and romantic, generally full length. There were many elements incorporated into the prom dress of that time, such as Cap sleeves, satin waistbands, lace, bodices and frilly frocks with lantern sleeves. These details represented a woman’s beauty and femininity. Later, several more flamboyant styles emerged, like gaucho pants, bolero jackets, and other fads like the harem look with the ballooning skirt, all inspired by Hollywood.
When the vintage prom dresses come back into the modern fashion, they are improved by adding new modern elements. The 50′s and 60′s prom dresses are back with long chiffon gowns with full collars and full-length sheer train; glamorous strapless dresses with winged upper bodice and a full skirt. Semi-sheer chiffon gowns with embroidered organdy and Empire waist-favorites in the 60-are also making a comeback among the younger set. Most are opting to dress up their ensembles with vintage jackets, coats, shoes, shawls and jewelry.
